Freia's yoga classes consist of a dynamic, breath led asana (posturural) practice. This means the poses are synchronized with the breath. This warms the body, expands the breath, focuses the mind and brings the practitioner to the present moment.

The goal of a yoga practice is to integrate the body and mind: to bring greater awareness and clarity to your mind, to build strong and flexible bodies, and to create a sattvic state of mind. A sattvic state of mind is one in which a person is alert and energized, and completely relaxed and peaceful at the same time.. This empowers people to lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the philosophy and practice of Yoga. Yoga experience is not necessary as students will be met where they are in their own process and guided and supported through breath work, meditations and postures.
